I got the shadow from in game when I took the picture. The sun cast a shadow on Yersinia and I cut around it to keep it as part of the picture when I added a different background.

Thanks - it didn't really work for me though as you can tell lol. OK - here are my options. Tell me which you think I should use, or if I should change something major (I'm thinking hairstyle) Option 1Option 2Option 3I'm leaning towards Option 3 because it says you can do a close up if you think it's more historically correct... and I believe that that is pretty correct. What do you think?

I would go with number three. She is going to have a different hair style, right? I have a few if you need me to send them.

For the shadow, you can select the shadow area and recolor it into more of a gray color to make it work. I like both #1 and 3 (if you fix the shadow).

Keely, Gems is right, your hard work is showing. The softened shadow certainly makes your pic authentic and brings it together nicely. Be - No. 3 is my favorite shot because its more like a portrait we would see from that era. Of course the hair has to be more authentic. You can go Here for Sussi's stuff. She has the best hair and costumes for that time period. And it looks like 'All About Style' may have what you need. Look under hair and go to pages 3 and 4. Alia - I can't see any room for improvement. Her pose, her look and the spot light effect with the softened glow works so well together and reflects that time period perfectly. The final touch for me that seems just so like that time is the stark contrast between her skin soft pale skintone and the red brilliant lipstick. Good job Alia.

What about this? Hair still not quite right? I'm trying to refrain from downloading too much, but if I have to, I have to.

Alia, that is so gorgeous, doing anymore to it might ruin the perfectness This is what I have done so far for Lile. Hopefully her assignment is obvious enough.

mmm, Be I don't think you're quite there yet. Remember the idea is for the students to blend in with their peers of the time. I don't think any female would be caught without her hair piled high. Or if her hair is short then she would certainly cover it with an ornate head piece of some kind. Ashlee it is indeed obvious. I see that you have a good handle on shadowing! I especially like her shadow on the back of the chair, nice touch there. I think the pose itself is very daring and very 'pin girlish' but you may want to edit her hands a bit more. Her left hand isn't well defined. It looks like the photographer caught her in the middle of lifting her hand to perhaps rest on the back of her head? Also the right hand looks a bit stiff. I have the feeling that you're wanting it to appear as if she's resting that hand on the arm of the chair? It can be tricky but I think it's possible to re-edit with a simple cut and paste to make those hands look a bit more natural. If you need some tips be sure to ask.

Oh my! These entries are looking seriously gorgeous guys! Ashlee: I defo thought 'pin-up' when I saw Lile's entry The pose is so hot and the expression just the right amount of cheekiness! Be: As I said before, the pose is wonderful but it's just the hair is a little too short. If you look at the photos for that period, the woman have their hair long but pulled up fashionably.. Alia: you should be proud of it! it's simply gorgeous <3
