Here you can hang out with all your fellow peers and discuss all sorts of things like wands, wizards and, of course, homework! Want some constructive criticism on Maths, English, History or whatever piece your teacher has given you? Then here is the place to do so Keep in mind, this is a boarding school so you are all going to want to stay on good terms with each other. No harsh feedback please, only constructive. For instance, don't just say: 'that's got F grade written all over it'. Instead, please suggest ways in which your peer could improve her magical skill

Hey! I was hoping to get some constructive feedback on my History Homework. I can't decide if her pose looks like worship or if it just looks awkward. This is for Ancient Greece. Any suggestions?

I love it, Keeley. The only thing I would say is could you move her feet together? Because with her feet apart, honestly... it just looks like jumping jacks. I think if her feet were together, it'd be more regal. The outfit, hair, and makeup are BEAUTIFUL!!

I am having so much trouble with Lauronica's eyes. I never really thought about how having such huge eyes would make her look surprised/stupid all the time, but, well... that seems to be the case, unless she is mad.
Then I tried shrinking here eyes and it just makes her look angry, not smart!!
NEVARMOIND~ Lauronica came back from her visit with Jane Austen in 1816 (She told her to name the leading man in her newest book "Frederick Wentworth" instead of "Frances Worthington") and decided that she needed to relax some... she begged Mrs. Colby to let her go to the 70s. With the promise that Laurie would NOT disrupt this period in time, Mrs. Colby granted Laurie permission.

Ooo Keeley that outfit is stunning! and the pose is really creative The only thing I would suggest is perhaps to have her arms clasped together, as if in prayer..and the background colour could be... lighter? Maybe golden or just a little more complimentary with the gown. Fab work though, she looks gorgeous! Edit: whoops. must have posted at the same time as you duck, sorry i didn't notice your pics.. As for advice, I'm a little torn. I really like her hair and make-up in #1 but I think she looks..smarter (lol) in #4 Maybe she doesn't even have to be reading a book. You could just have a poised body shot of her in one of those gorgeous dresses you seem to have

I couldn't really figure out an "intelligent" looking pose for a full body shot. I posted in the Lesson thread, but I think I'd like to switch over to the 70's, so I can get a little help from my hippie parents. My dad didn't like the Regency outfits anyway because he said they were "too much cleavage" for the Regency era. (As if I, a Literature major, did not recognize the inaccuracies myself.)

Thanks for all the suggestion, I'm working on it now. As for her gown, I had to manipulate it a little...it used to have sleeves.

Okay, I worked on the pose a little bit, and I tried working with the background colors. Unfortunately, the lighter gold colors tended to wash Yersinia out. Let me know what you think of the following ones.

The first one looks heavenly You could blur the shadow though to make it a bit more realistic, but I'm nit-picking

I like the first one best. Yersinia's new pose is much more appealing. Her eyes are dramatically beautiful. I like the look of imploring sorrow(?). It puts me in the mind that perhaps she's standing in the blazing sun making supplications to her god. Or perhaps she's a golden goddess. The skintone, I wouldn't worry about so much because when you're outdoors, the appearance of your skin's tone (especially lighter tones) will be affected by the elements.

Is this shadow better? I changed the color and blurred the lines a little bit. Also, thanks for all the feedback. It's been really really helpful.

I think that shadow is more realistic than in the previous pictures. I wouldn't really change anything now... it's basically perfect I think. I wish I had your editing skills. ;-)

Thank you so much! I've put a lot of effort into this. Honestly, I'm pretty new to editing. I just search for tutorials on anything I might want to use, and then experiment with them. I have like 30 different versions of this image right now from experimentation.
Thanks again for all the help!
