I tried the same thing with another backround colour. Never try a red backround! It doesn't work that well...lol

I know. Always cuts brown or redish hair. I use white or a bright green wall. You know that use bright green in films to add effects.
You should try the green as well. I think it works just as good.

White works fine for me I used green walls for a while but they reflect in the highlights of your sims...

Is GIMP at all the same as Photoshop? I can't find the "Darken" option.

It should be, I don't rightly know cause I haven't got it anymore myself... It might be that it doesn't have some options, or they're called differently

Finally found it! I had to press L+Ctrl to get the layer menu and then I has to select "Darken Only" and rubbing out the backround took me quite a while. Thanks for putting up the link for that tutorial Cat!

I don't know what GIMP is or even PhotoFiltre. I guessed PhotoFiltre is a phot program?

How many times have you asked me that?! lol Yes it is. GIMP is much more complicated than PhotoFiltre but it has more options.

Ofcourse there are other ways of editing pics I cut out quite differently usually, but my method takes a lot of time. This one doesn't really, so I thought I might share it

I useally use the magic wand tool. But for colourful back grounds I use that painting on. I hate that method so much! ><

The magic wand tool? That doesn't seem to work much for me. I know what you're talking about when you say the 'painting on' tool but I don't have it.
