I just got it today, so far it seems to have lots of cool nifty things to play around with, although I'm a tad annoyed they didn't make gardening a hobby What are your thoughts, people who have got it already?

I am getting it probably tomorrow, or day after tomorrow... I already ordered it, so I don't have munch choice but sit and wait at home... :]

I've got it, and I really like it so far. But I've got something wrong with my PC and it crashes about 15 mins into any game you play. So I have to keep waiting for 5 mins to reboot and so on. It can get very frustrating.

I'm really not sure if I'm gonna get this one or not, I've been told it's a really crappy EP... I did hear about the playing with clay thing, a sim fixing his car and the genie. Besides that, is there anything good about Freetime?

I got it yesterday but I've only been on a very short time. I don't have the guide to go with it so I'm a little confused about the whole aspiration thing. But I'll figure it out once I get some more time to play. I like the new neighborhood! It seems more interesting than Riverblossom; I can't wait to look around a bit more.

Wooo! I got it, finally! So far, it seems really good, I haven't played it a lot, though. It's interesting how they can gain interests and join to clubs [at least as far as I noticed xD] Haha. But it's pretty cool. The only thing I don't like is that I have to wait for 15 minutes for it to load. But hey... It's like that since I installed Bon Voyage. xD And downloaded that bunch of stuff... Anyway, my impression so far is good, although, I expected more... But it's still cool

My impression so far is that I love it Lots of little things that add a lot more flavour to the game, the new options seem to be great for developing sims as real individuals (not just fortune sim A or something) and I love the hobbies, they're very quirky. Some annoyances/bugs in the game so far, my sims will try to birdwatch every second I leave them alone and do be careful with reintroducing hacks/mods, they can mess things up in ways you wouldn't expect. (at some point every meal my sims cooked disappeared as soon as it was made, leaving my sims starving). Depends on your playing style I suppose, but this EP was a great addition to the game in the way I like to play it.

Same here. Every meal just vanished after it had been made. Then again my game also crashes within an hour of being started so my PC is going to hell lol

I like it so far. You can make custom radio stations, watch films and read novels by genre. I'ts really cool.

I got it and installed it and played it for about an hour, so I haven't really checked it out enough to know if I like it yet. But I did hear somewhere that the nature hobby can be increased by gardening.

I like how it makes the sims a more well rounded..uh..sim. But I gotta say that the phone calls are really beginning to irk my nerve big time. Everytime they get a hobby point the freakin' phone rings - for subscriptions, invites to a club, yada yada yada.
Has anyone gotten a genie to visit yet?

Oh! I got a genie to visit! It was cool! She went into my home, ran up my stairs, put the lamp on the floor, and ran away again. But, some wierd things have been happening too. Remember that cow guy from University? Well, he keeps visiting and the first time he came, he talked with two of my people (I have two couples) and it said they were having affairs! Then, since all my people were in the same room, they caught their lovers cheating, causing me to have to once more raise their relationships. Now, he keeps coming to their house, gets in their hottub, stays there for days, and then leaves. I'm scared of him. He also keeps messing with my stuff! And there's another guy who comes everyday and does ballet until like 2 a.m. Lots of stalkers with Freetime. I guess the stalkers are the ones who have the free time.
