4th of December, 2006
Hello everyone,
December has dawned upon us, and that cheerful time of the year has arrived. Of course, Creative Freaks will make your holidays even more special!
Let’s see what has happened in the month of November.
Competition Time
Since October a lot has changed. Many new competitions have hit the site and a lot of people have participated.
Creative Freaks' Next Top Model
Do you think your model has what it takes to be Creative Freaks’ Next Top Model? Does your model have the power to make the opposite gender notice you?
Lured by the call of fame, sixteen models have entered the CFNTM. These sixteen contestants will have to make their way through twelve challenges, each designed to test the contestants’ skills in styling, composition, photographing and editing.
Round One
The Round One challenge focuses on Internationality. The models were assigned a country or location they had to represent. Who did a great job? Which model will have to leave the competition?
Find out when we start voting!
And after that, you can start wondering what challenges Round Two will hold.
Creative Freaks: Extreme Makeover
Edition #2
The month of November shone it’s light on Carol Smith, who was in dire need of a makeover.
Carol Smith is a woman with anger problems. She is constantly in a strop and likes to relieve herself by breaking many things all around her.
With your styling makeovers, Carol was finally able to turn her back to her violent past! But only one of your makeovers could be chosen as the final result.
The positions where…
1st Place: Hippy Carol by Tiababy
2nd Place: Dark Lady by Cheshire Cat
3rd Place: Was tied by 3 people.

Well done to Tiababy for winning November’s CF’s Extreme Makeover. Your prize shall be given to you as soon as possible.
Creative Freaks' Caption Contest
Creative Freaks has finally started its own caption contest!
The contest is going to be held every week but we need your help. We need you to post silly, funny and downright crazy photo's so we can use them in the contest.
More information will be in the 'Special Contest's' category. If you want to participate, or send in a picture, please read up.
The Sims 2 Pets Review
Our search for a TS2: Pets reviewer was finally over. After careful consideration, one was chosen.
Here is our member review!
The new TS2 expansion pack has added a huge new feature too the Sims experience - ‘The Sims 2: Pets’ allows you too have your very own pets to train, play and grow with your sims.
The Create-A-Pet tool allows you too create your dream cat or dog - or perhaps re-create your very own furry friend. You can create a unique coat for your pet by using different layers and colours. You can also adjust facial and body features which enables you to create a cute or crazy looking pet - or if you’re lazy, select a one from the large variety of breeds in the pet bin.
Other than cats and dogs, other pets you can care for are birds and ‘womrats’; hamster-like creatures which live in small cages. Unfortunately there are little amounts of interactions for these pets since the main focus is cats and dogs.
There are three career tracks for pets; Service, Show Business and Security, which is great if your sim family is low on simoleons. The carpool will come and collect your pets - just like normal sims. Every time your pets receive a promotion, you unlock a new pet collar or fur colour that can also unlocked by typing in codes.
Pets can learn a number of tricks including sit, roll over and play dead. With the ‘scold’ and ‘praise’ actions, you can teach your pets whether it is right or wrong to pee on the carpet or chew up the furniture. So it is your choice whether you want a clean, well behaved pet or a scruffy, dirty little critter.
‘The Sims 2: Pets’ is probably one of the best expansion packs so far, but still it could be improved. More interactions would make the game more interesting and so would a larger variety of pet toys.
Maxis have done a good job on this expansion pack and have realistically portrayed animal behaviour. It just makes you wonder - what’s next for The Sims?
