Chess!Would there be any other way of doing something like this? I mean, this is gorgeous. But, with the program I have.., I don't think has anything like that. Could you please help me figure this out? I use PhotoImpression..

don't mean to intervene, gems, but you can do this effect with GIMP, Snake.

Mmkay..., I'm sure I could make this work, eventually. I don't have GIMP Claudia.., just PhotoImpression.
Yes, I have bluring, and a few others...Maybe, about 15-20 effects..Or less, I can't remember.

(I meant that GIMP is free, so you can use it...)

Hmm, I must get myself GIMP sometime and figure it out (once I get a LOAD of free time, that is, getting used to Photoshop took me literally ages). There seems to be a kind of gap of info on that department.
I'm afraid right now I'm a GIMP newbie. Can't help you there. It should be more or less the same as Photoshop is all I know =/

Yes, it surprised me how similar it was, but it has some very annoying inconveniences.. like the floating windows and the magnetic (or polygonal, I don't remember) lasso tool not being there at all... so I have to use photofiltre to cut out things... I miss my photoshop

Mmkay, I think I'll go try that out..Once I download it. It sounds a bit similar to the program I use.., so maybe it won't be too hard. Luckily, I'm a quick learner.^^

Very lucky. I wonder if I'll be able to download GIMP as well.
But hopefully you should be able to use it an I'm sure it will work. I wish I could help you with your PhotoImpression's program.

In the layer settings if you have photoshop/GIMP It should be somewhere in your 'layers' window.

I tried and this is what came out of it: I also added a border and love hearts (yeah, I know, I copied!): What do you think?
