Do you wanna play The Sims and do other things simulteneously, like your cool editings, hanging out at CF? To pass your stories from Word to the game? Well, thanks to my good friends, Dee and Lizzie, and to beyoncebabyboy (or just "B") I gathered the necessary information and inspiration (thanks, B ) to make this tutorial. Important Note: I'll try making this tutorial as clear and simple as I can, but my computer is on my mother language, which is portuguese. I use Windows XP, the format is basically the same, only the language is different, but I'll translate it for you guys when necessary. Step 1: Create a shortcut to The Sims 2, preferrably on your desktop. Right-click it and and select "Properties" (=propriedades). Step 2: Now, in the "Target" (=Destino) area, click on it and go all the way to the right with the right arrow. Now, type "-w" in the red circle. Step 3: Now, just click 'apply" (=aplicar) and you're done! You'll play TS2 on window mode everytime you load the game using that shortcut. You may need to change its title a bit so that you don't confuse it with the other one.

No prob but it's not exactly the same, I don't really like playing on window mode because we can't just take the mouse arrow to a corner on the screen to make the camera move... does that make sense? It's still very useful, tho I have the game loaded right now.

If you want to do that, you should go to 'cameraman mode'. Chess told me about it. Do you want me to explain or do you already know?

You can also just press that funny window thing on your keyboard and come on quickly but you have to keep pressing it to get out of the game!
