The Pose Project
Using the right pose is very important for taking and creating good pictures. That's why I'd like to call upon everyone to join in on this little project. Basically, post pictures you think are cool, original, fun, and maybe not many people know how to do. Also explain how exactly you got these poses. Alternatively, you can request to have a pose explained. In that case, post a picture of the pose here and maybe a member will know how it can be done! This thread can also be used for facial expressions

Oooh! This is awesome. Now I can find out awesome poses! Because I don't know how to make any poses...
So I have a question, How do you get the pose where the sims is kind of slanted while standing up and giving a peace sign? -I'll look for a picture-

You can use the camera (career reward for the art career that comes with Uni) and choose Pose> Peace. Or you can use the Hula Hack (I forget link) to do the same.

One I found out recently: With the new Hula Hack (yes people, it's been updated! Get your new version asap you can select the 'knee bend' option. (It's what your sims do while exercising) When your sim is at the highest point of the knee bend, pause. I frankensteined the head on, but this pose is great for showing off models

Thanks Chess! I can't have hacks in my game, so when I make the sim exercise, I pause it and take a picture?
When you exercise with what? The TV or some workout machine?

It's the exercise that comes with the TV or radio The problem with doing it without the hula hack is that your sim will change into work-out gear. If you modify the outfit you want in bodyshop to show up as workout clothes that's allright, but the hula hack is much more handy.

Right... I have some clothes that work like that, so its all good. Unless of course, it's a picture of the model in her work-out clothes!

meh i suck at explaining lol. i think with the second one trial and error is important in getting it right. basically just move your sims about and watch them try to get in the cab while you are moving them away. eventually you'll see what i mean... might be helpful to use the slowmotion cheat if you are worried about timing

Oh okay... I think I have an idea of what you mean... It's a timing thing though, right?

basically yeah. but thats the key to every pose in sims 2: timing is crucial

Exactly... I have horrible timing, it's pretty pathetic actually!
