Hiya guys, I'd love to see some input on this idea I've got. Instead of eliminating a model every round, we could keep all models in and count their overall scores to determinate who will be the winner. Advantages- You can't get kicked out of the competition because of one single bad picture. Say that you didn't have enough time, your shot just didn't go the way you wanted it... you could make up for your bad shot during the rest of the competition. - You get to experience every single round. No more eliminee's entries, you have to stay involved in the entire competition in order to be able to win. - Drop outs or a missed entry will not mess up the competition planning, since you will just get appointed 0 points for every round you miss. Disadvantages- If many people take part, it will be a huge competition and voting might get really awkward - Rounds which need to be edited by me will cost me a lot of time - ...? An option I have for the awkward voting thing is to appoint some judges (or I will judge it myself) that give points, and combine this with the votes of the members. So, give me your feedback. What do you think? Do you have any suggestions? Let me know!

I like that idea. If it is used, will it be for the next and coming seasons of NTM? 'Cause that would be awesome.
I really like that idea Chess!

If it is okay-ed it'll be used for all major contests on this board That means every contest that has more than 2 rounds.

hmmm i can't decide which i prefer....
-not getting eliminated is always a bonus but i've seen it done on another forum and the voting is pretty hectic.
-and i do like how the final round is between just two models, sense of achievement sort of thing.
-also if we see the overall scores after each round, it will soon become obvious who is likely to win overall...
-then again, once the model is eliminated they don't really feel involved with the contest anymore. although their is an elimination thread, members don't really post their in every round.
its a tough one...perhaps a mixture of both? maybe if their are too many people who enter it, you could have a few rounds where models do get eliminated until their is a reasonable amount of models left (say 15) and then from their you could start the contest as a voting overall?

Yeah. I like the idea of having that.. It would be mixing both and everyone would be happy...

So an application round to see who will get into the final 15 or something? Sounds like a good idea, manageable too. Ofcourse, you can never make everyone happy, but we try

I like this idea. I would have like to participate throughout the whole thing. I think Leslie could have gotten a lot farther if her round five wasn't so... bad.

My point exactly, we can't please everyone.
I still like the the idea of combining the two ways of voting. It's interesting...

I like the combination idea also but maybe vice versa that way you'll still have the 'final two' like on the real show? But whatever you decide will be okay, I'm easy to please .

Like Gems said, it would be obvious who is the overall winner. How about for a third of the competition, the scores are announced after each round. After this period is over, each member finda out their own score in a pm. No telling the others though!
